Oconee RESA is one of sixteen Regional Education Service Agencies (RESAs). RESA is an acronym for Regional Education Service Agency. RESAs (formally CESAs) and have been in existence since 1966. There are 16 RESAs serving the 180 school systems across the state.

Substitute Teacher Training is for individuals who wish to work as a substitute teacher in a school district.

Frequently Asked Questions
  1. From the login screen, click “Create Profile”

  2. Enter your Legal Name, School Email Address and Password

  3. Complete the form.

  4. If you are a Certified Educator, enter your Certification Identification Number(CERTID)

    a. If you are a Noncertified Educator, enter  a zero “0”.

    b. If you are a Certified Educator and do not know your CERTID, click HERE and log in to MyPSC account to obtain your CERTID.

  5. Choose Organization – This is the school/place where you work.

  6. Click Save and Close. Congratulations! You have created your profile.

  1. Click Helpful Links at the top of the page.
  2. Click Old Transcripts.  This link will take you to the old Capital Impact Registration System.  Type the school email address you used when you created the account and password.

To view and/or update your profile, click log in to access your account. You will enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click forgot password button and the password will be sent to your email address.  Oconee RESA does not have access to your password.

Once logged in, follow these steps:

  1. Click your name in the very top right corner of the screen

  2. Click My ORESA Profile

  3. Once your profile loads, click the Edit button in the top right

  4. Update any information

  5. Click Save.

You will also be presented with your profile when registering for classes, therefore you can update information at this time as well.

To register and attend a professional learning class/course, first you must register for the class you want to attend. If this is your first time registering, click create profile. If you have already created a profile, you will enter your work email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password"  and the password will be sent to your email address.  Oconee RESA does not have access to your password.

To register for class, follow the steps:

  1. Click Professional Learning Classes
  2. Click Classes
  3. Click on the class title in "blue" you want to register and attend
  4. Click on the blue "Register" button
    The Class Overview will provide information about the class
  5. Choose Payment Method.
    1. Choose Bill Me when you're paying yourself
    2. Choose Bill My Organization when the school or district is paying
  6. Status- This will show you the name of the class you have registered to attend along with the date and time. You will also see the Approval Status.

At this point, your approvers are being notified of your request and you can check status by going to My Area > My Requests.

  1. Click Professional Learning Classes
  2. Click Classes

  5. Review User Information to make sure all information is correct. Click Next
  6. Review and click Submit
  7. Choose "Bill Me" for payment method.
  8. You will receive an email with the link to pay for the class.

At this point, you can check status by going to My Area > My Requests.
